LEE HUXTABLE
SOLO ARTIST AND ACCOMPANIST PERFORMING POPULAR MODERN COVERS ON KEYBOARD AND GUITAR
About Me
Born in Hornchurch in Essex, I started playing piano at the age of 10, and then took up classical guitar and joined the choir at 14 as a complement to the piano playing.
I acted and sang in various school productions and sang in the Coopers' school choir including at St Paul's Cathedral. I continued to perform on stage at the University of Southampton where I took the lead role in a number of light operatic productions. More recently I performed a piano recital in the HSBC Tower at Canary Wharf and auditioned for the ITV show the X Factor.
I previously performed in the function band Frankie and the Squealers, who performed lively sets at weddings and other events.
I was a founding member of the Muse Tribute band Cydonia Knights.
I also teach piano lessons in my spare time with 100% exam passes to date.

I play regularly in the Southampton area in a variety of venues, from formal piano recitals to open mic events, from rock festivals to local pubs. The set list varies but there's always something for everyone - I can learn any tune within a few days and enjoy the variety!

In 2008 I started work at Ordnance Survey in Southampton, where I created a new workplace choir "Off The Scale" which has performed on the BBC and in the Turner Sims Concert Hall in Southampton.
